Happy Israeli Independence Day, everyone!

I was rubbing oil on Aliza's scalp to help loosen her cradle cap and she really loves it :) Put her in a great mood!

(NB: Cradle cap shampoo smells nasty and doesn't work. The oil and toothbrush method works, even if it's a little more effort, AND leaves the baby in a good mood. Points from me!)

In less charming news, I then gave her a bath, put her in a clean onesie and gave her her bottle. Despite having a bib on, she dribbled milk all over her clean onesie. *sigh* At least she hasn't burped up sour milk this time!

I'm hosting my NCT group tomorrow afternoon. This means I have to clean! Argh! :-)

So I e-mail them again and add that their web pages contradict their e-mail, and their policy should be consistent, and moreover I feel that 8 days is an unreasonable length of time to wait for first class post. I get the following reply:

"It does appear that something may have gone awry with the delivery of your order #xxxx - the package should have reached you by now.

Normally, in such circumstances we would create a replacement order for the lost items right away, to be dispatched to you as soon as possible at no additional charge.

However, in this case, we are uncertain how you would like us to proceed.

We would still be very happy to arrange for a replacement to be sent to the same address. If this solution will not work for you, we can simply issue a refund for the item, along with the associated delivery costs."

Did I say I wanted a refund?! I suppose they're being nice but for some reason it irks me...

Long shot I know, but anyone else at a loose end? Neil has to go bring some furniture down to Devon (clearing the last bits out of Ashbourne Court) and since he'll be driving a van, Aliza and I will be home. All alone *melodramatic sobs*

I might even be prepared to bring the baby somewhere... ;-)
