Yes, you will get NYC or Northeastern. This is because 1) it has no way of differentiating foreigners and 2) because of the criteria they use. Basically, the quiz relies on American vowel mergers. The British differentiate the same vowel sounds that New Yorkers do. They don't always differentiate them in the same way (the short o of British "coffee" is not the "aw" sound of New York, but it's not the "ah" of other American accents either). But since that short o doesn't exist in American English, the quiz has no way of seeing the difference.

Now, if any of you get California, I'd be interested in that! ;-)

We were out earlier and Aliza was looking really cute so I decided to snap a photo of her with my phone. Literally a microsecond before I hit the button, she burped up some curdled milk. What a shot! (Turned out I managed to cut off the side of her face as well...)

Naturally, I'd forgotten to stick a cloth in my bag just in case (I didn't have my whole diaper bag with me as we were only headed up to the shops and she'd just been fed and changed). Doh! Luckily we were on our way home.

Speaking of which, Aliza is now playing with the muslin square I just used to burp/wipe her... she thinks it's great. "Look Mommy, I can grab! I can pull!" They're so easily amused at this age ;-)
