I took Aliza to the doctor's for her jabs. Only problem was, it seems her appointment was yesterday. DOH! Luckily they squeezed her in at 12:15, so I did some errands in the meantime.

She's now a bit fussy--I'm hoping the jabs make her sleepy like they did last time ;-)

This time because I said (of Thandie Newton) "She was unbelievably irritating in ER. I wanted to send her back to the Congo and leave her there... preferably near a source of Ebola."

To which I got the reply:
"I can't believe you'd make such and open, ignnorant small minded, RACIST comment like that. You want kicking off here for making such a comment. Ok you might not like the actress, but to go all out and make such a racist comment like that is totally uncalled for. By the way she's English and born in London so to say "send her back to the Congo" just goes to show what a tiny minded racist idiot that you are."

I, and 2 other people, pointed out that I'd meant the ER storyline--the character came from the Congo! Honestly, I hadn't even thought of it in a "send her back to Africa" sense. I just wanted her away from County General :) In retrospect I suppose I could have written "send her character" but the forum doesn't allow post-editing after a certain time so I can't fix it now.

Someone else opined that racism is the new Godwin...
