I just sorted through a bunch of papers and filed them. It's impossible for me to do any filing, and decide on where to file something (Marriage certificate: M for marriage, B for bureaucracy...? I usually go for simplicity ;) ) without thinking of From The Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler.

I wonder if any other Americans around my age have this problem...

(Fun fact: The store at the Met has copies of the book. :) )
