Today Aliza had her hip scan at Barnet hospital, 2 buses there and back. Then this afternoon I went to an NCT get together in Borehamwood. I didn't want to ask for a ride (I hate doing that, I'm a weirdo) so I got the bus again, made a mistake with the 326 (forgot where it turns off the high road...) and got to Borehamwood late. Then I couldn't find Galia's house. Her road is so new that it's not in the A-Z yet. The postcode works, and I thought I knew where it was. It turns out that Google Maps made it look like it was off a side road. In fact, it is off the main road. Now, this wouldn't have been such a problem if I'd gotten off the bus where I'd meant to, on the main road--I would have walked up and seen it. But for some reason I thought it was further into Borehamwood, and then we turned and I saw where we were. So I basically ended up walking for 20 minutes. I found it in the end, but boy, was I late! I didn't get to stay long either, because I elected to take up the offer of a ride (good thing I'd used Aliza's carseat with her pram, not the carrycot--I just did it because it's easier on the bus, and I didn't want to fiddle with the carrycot at Galia's. feeling lazy :) )

Anyhoo, she's been all right today. I had a crappy night's sleep, but not due to her (she did want a bottle at 03:00, no sleeping through this time, but that was easy enough). I kept waking up every hour for some reason I couldn't work out. Bah.
