Got my Fantasia DVD :) Wasn't expecting it so fast; the seller said he'd been told it would take 12-15 days.

Original shrink-wrapped goodness and everything!

• Picked up prescription at surgery (will fill it tomorrow)


• Had blood test at Finchley hospital (took 5 minutes woo)


• Survived massive crush at Waitrose (especially bad this year because of Christmas timing... and they're closed both Xmas Day and Boxing Day :/ ) The queue to get into the carpark was causing a traffic backup in Ballards Lane! They had someone directing cars in the carpark, too--squeezing extra people into the parent & child spaces. Tough luck if you needed to get your baby in/out today, apparently. We spent a fortune, although it is several days worth of food and included parts of Monday's dinner--but we'd already bought the duck!


• Cleaned the fridge (took the shelves out and washed them--something of a pain as our fridge is in a corner and you can't swing the door past 90°, so it requires a fair bit of jiggling to get them out). We now have a nice sparkly clean fridge filled with fresh food, yay!


• Was surprised by getting the Sims 2: Pets delivered, as I'd only just ordered it the other day. Neil has bought himself the expansion pack to Oblivion, so we shall probably both be very, very sad this weekend ;-)

And now I shall have some lunch and a nap!
