I didn't have my GTT. I just thought to myself, this is pointless. I had a perfect GTT result before, no sugar in my urine since, and no symptoms of gestational diabetes There's no reason for me to have one other than paranoia because I'm overweight and have PCOS. Never mind that I took metformin for my first trimester, so my GD risk should be substantially reduced.
Anyway, I decided, to hell with it. It's a horrible test, I was already starving at 6:00, and frankly it's a waste of the NHS' time and money. So I rang up and said I couldn't make it.
