I hung around all day for UPS.
No sign of them. No delivery attempt slip. Tomorrow I can't hang around; I'll have to leave the delivery instructions slip with a signature and tell them to leave it on the step (hopefully someone will bring it into the hallway--downstairs/next door have the builders in, and they're using our downstairs hall to store bits and pieces, so they might well do it. They've been sorting the post and leaving it on the inside steps. This would be more useful if Akemi upstairs actually collected her post. It baffles me. I know she [well someone] is there because I can hear footsteps overhead, so why does she let her post pile up for 10 days at a time?)
Ugh. Otherwise I'm still quite cheerful, tiredness aside. My appetite is shrinking again; yesterday I only managed a chicken leg instead of leg + thigh (OK, had quite a lot of veg with it: potatoes, carrots, cabbage).
Still need to sort out a new phone!
