Correction

Neil was not at bridge. He was watching Arsenal manage a 0-0 draw against CSKA Moscow.

Doh.

(I do remember briefly thinking to myself "hmm, bridge doesn't sound quite right" but then dismissing the thought. I've become too used to connecting "evening out" with "bridge game"!)

Cancellation

Since everyone seems to be busy next weekend, we've decided to cancel. Y'all suck. Now I know how much you really love us! </melodrama>
(No, not really, especially those of you who don't actually live in or near London.)

If you were thinking of coming but didn't say, well, that's what you get! Any future parties will involve a sprog.

Making the cranky crankier

I've been somewhat irritable over the past couple of days--not so much that I'll snap at people, but little things get me (even) rantier than usual.

So what I did NOT need was London Buses being utterly hopeless. Actually TfL in general was pretty poor (12 minutes wait for a train at Hendon Central. At noon.) I estimate that I've wasted well over an hour today waiting for buses, and 2 of them terminated early. One took 25 minutes to arrive then decided it was going to finish at Swiss Cottage.

I shall go curl up for an hour, because it is cold in here! (Just put the heat on)
