We spent the weekend visiting Neil's family down in Devon. It was a nice relaxing weekend, though rather grey :( The cat didn't appreciate it.

The traffic coming back tonight sucked--it took 4 hours to get to Fleet. Then it actually only took 40 minutes from Fleet to the Brent Cross flyover. It actually paid to take the M25 from the M3 to the M40 :-) (Non-UKers: the M25 is the London Orbital Motorway and is usually a traffic nightmare, especially the section we were on.)

Tomorrow I really need to tidy and go shopping. Hopefully I'll sleep tonight. Actually, I'm not that hopeful; I couldn't fall asleep last night (good thing there's no shortage of books at my in-laws!) and I slept from near Exeter to Fleet. (BBC Radio 2 on a Sunday afternoon is not good for keeping one awake.)
