There's no Universal Binary update for SimCity 4 Rush Hour (or the original SimCity 4, come to that). It runs like crap on Rosetta...

(luckily there are updates for the Sims 2 expansion packs, and Civ3)

I guess I must be looking a little bit pregnant--a woman on the bus offered me her seat today. I don't feel like I look very pregnant, but my clothes don't fit properly--I don't necessarily have to wear maternity tops (though I was today) but regular ones only work if they're loose fitting.

Baby has decided to stop pressing against whatever nerve s/he was on, so no more pain. I'm really having a very easy pregnancy. No morning sickness, no cravings, none of the weird symptoms in my pregnancy book :) Of course, this has my paranoid streak worried that it will all go wrong in the last trimester!

OTOH, I could be lucky and take after my mother, who had 3 easy pregnancies and 3 VERY easy births. (Natural 3 times and she still claims it didn't hurt...)

Today's boos go to TfL/Metroline buses. This morning I waited over 25 minutes for a 326 (every 12-15 minutes IIRC). It finally shows up... and breezes past, ignoring me and the 2 other people waiting. Another bus showed up shortly afterward, but terminated at Finchley Central (I needed to go all the way to Brent Cross). I then had to walk across Ballards Lane to get a 143, which proceeded to wait at the stop for about 7 minutes for no apparent reason.

Luckily, the journey home was MUCH better (straight onto a 326 at Brent Cross, dropped off just before my house--I do like living on a hail & ride section ;) )

The cat is licking the inside rim of my dirty milk glass. Nice one, cat.

I have to book my theory test. I've been putting it off because I'm secretly convinced I will fail it, even though rationally I know I should pass--given the number of morons on the road it can't be that difficult, surely?

First it was 2 months of no service Camden - East Finchley. Now it's the 2nd weekend of no service East Finchley - High Barnet.

I pity the Mill Hill East riders: no service for ALL of it. (And they've been reduced to a shuttle service off peak. No wonder locals are suspicious that it's the first step to branch closure, even though ridership should be going up due to all the redevelopment and new flats there.)
