Golders Green was insane this morning. It's a good thing I went when I did--I knew everything would be shutting early, but "early" turned out to mean 12:15. I got the last roasting chicken at the butcher's. (OK they had frozen ones, but that wouldn't have done me much good for tonight...) The queue at the bakery was wound down 3 shop fronts.

I've got the soup on, though. Just enough time for it to taste good...
