I just realised, I've mixed some of Neil's books with mine in the boxes... this move may signal the unthinkable: a merger of our book collections! (It will be a disaster, he doesn't alphabetise or organise his books with regard to anything except, possibly, size.)
Also need to get Phil a thank-you present for helping us move. I was thinking maybe a bottle of Tesco Value Scotch? ;o) (£6.86 for 70cl. Damn, and I was hoping it would be under a fiver!) It would be worth it just to see the look on his face. ;)
BTW, either the salesman lied to Neil or Neil misunderstood. The bottoms of these boxes ARE self-locking, but the tops aren't. :( Where else can I get packing tape and a tape gun? The self-storage place where he got these has really weird Sunday hours, and it's totally out of the way from any of the other errands I have to run tomorrow :/
(6 boxes down, and I've just about finished the first bookcase. Er, except the bottom shelf is Neil's Whisky Shrine, which I daren't touch. Oh, and I realised AFTER I'd stacked a bunch of boxes that I'd blocked the telly. Oops. How in Someone's good name have we managed to cram so much junk into such a small flat?!)
