Repairman's just been in. Our machine needs a new control board. The office has currently been notified and they will decide whether to repair or replace it (if a repair costs more than a certain amount, they just replace it, apparently). If they repair, it will take 3-5 days to get the part. :( (Didn't say how long a replacement would take. (Although I've looked, and they're now on the L16830 which is a 7kg model, so naturally, I can't complain if they replace it.)
