Today i got an e-mail claiming to be about an AP Bio course. Now, I'm a little old to be in AP Bio (Brits: roughly A-Level) so it must be a mistake, right? It was sent to my old address from the US; easy enough to use alexis1@... by mistake. Especially since I used the largest ISP on Long Island.
What makes me suspicious is that it asks for confirmation of your e-mail address--so it might just be a very plausible-looking address harvester. (The sender e-mail address is hotmail, so not verifiable in any way.) (Though it was actually sent from hotmail, and the originating IP is from, funnily enough, my old ISP.)
Or maybe I'm just tech-savvy and paranoid....
