My poor Abby :(

Abby has cancer :( :(

She's doing OK, the vet's going to watch her, but they found 2 malignant tumours (which have been removed).

I miss her--I hope I see her again :(

He's done it again...

Yesterday in the supermarket, I said to Neil, "do you need sultanas?" He said no.

Today, when I'm on the phone to him, I say "I'm going to Sainsburys in a minute, do you need anything?"

Him: "No... oh wait, I need sultanas"

This is at least the fifth time this has happened in the past few months :)

Yet another screw up from the Post Office

this charging by size as well as weight. Why is weight not sufficient, given that bigger envelopes weigh more?!

It's just going to cause a lot of confusion, and long queues especially at Christmas!

(Never mind that they keep selling off all the crown post offices and replacing them with little counters in the back of local shops. North Finchley still has one, but Mill Hill and Hendon were sold and they tried selling and franchising Golders Green, till they were forced to back down. Now they're issuing dire warnings that the locals just made it worse for themselves.)
