There's a rally for Israel today. They're having it at JFS (the Jews' Free School) in Kenton, near Kingsbury station.
They've asked people to take public transport.
Er, hello?! How are all the good Jews from Golders Green and Hendon supposed to get to Kenton?! NW London Jews do not take buses if they can help it, and Kingsbury is on the Jubilee Line. Not very convenient.
I think JFS isn't a great site anyway, the Palestine Solidarity Campaign was at the Houses of Parliament yesterday. I suppose this could be more about showing our support to Israelis (there's a live video link) but it does come off as rather clannish. Although Anglo-Jewry would never actually demonstrate in public. Chas v'shalom! The anti-Zionists can publish full page ads in the Guardian showing off their lefty credentials, but us, we'll just argue on the letters page of the JC.
