The BBC 10 O'Clock News made my jaw drop yesterday. For the record, I'm not one of the people who thinks Auntie is implicitly anti-Semitic and anti-Israel, though they've had a few boner moments. But last night... The first 12 minutes (of a 35 minute programme) were in Lebanon. Journalists in buildings reporting about hearing missiles in the background, crying children, British evacuees, etc. Then a talking head (with Israel in the background) comes on for about 30 seconds and basically says 2 kids were killed in Nazareth. And back to London--that was it. You'd think that Israelis were sitting pretty while the Lebanese were bombed back into the Stone Age.
