I went shopping this morning.

All the skirts cling to my stomach and hips in a severely unflattering way... and I wasn't having problems 2 weeks ago. Obviously, I don't have a bump. But my shape appears to have changed: I've gained a few pounds, and my waist is going (all my skirts have developed this tendency to ride up rather than staying at my waist).

I think I may end up buying a few maternity tents today... I don't need them yet, but I may need them sooner than I'd wished :/

More shopping

I went to the maternity store and got some tops--not that I need them yet, of course, but it's good to have them before you do, because who knows exactly when that will be? They didn't have a single plus-size skirt. Not one. I didn't even get to the "looks crap on" stage. Grrr. Online shopping for me, I suspect...

And of course, they had nice stuff for thinner women (the Pea in the Pod line) but it was frumpitude for the larger ones.

I have writing on the pad of my right middle finger. NO idea how it could have gotten there. I can't quite read it, but it definitely looks right way round rather than mirror image (as it would be if I'd pressed my finger against something that had just been written.)
