Today's energy level is best described as "low". It wasn't helped by a mini-Exorcist moment earlier. I think I might go have a nap.

Didn't sleep, did make 2 dozen chocolate chip muffins (1 dozen at a time, as my parents' oven has horrible hot spots). I do like having a KitchenAid. And a dishwasher. :)

ooh, exciting!

I've been to the yarn store! Mom's going to knit a baby blanket (mixed-colour wool). She's also going to crochet one, multicoloured squares (pink, blue, and yellow on white).

Mom hates EVERY Hebrew girl's name in the book I got, so she's stuffed now ;) I hate her taste in names, she likes ones that sound trendy, or have unusual spellings. Unfortunately, we're in something of a female name shortage in my family--too many girls in recent generations and no unused names!

Oh, and both Mom and Carly decided to be difficult--they'd object to names by saying "I know someone with that name and I hated them". Well, you can think of someone objectionable for most fairly-common names...

I'm sure we'll manage to find something to call the sprog, though :)

I got fed a huge dinner of steak, baked potato, sautéed onions and corn, and I didn't have to cook any of it or do the dishes! :)
