It's 82 and sunny, expected to go up to 88 (ok, that's 28 and 31 for you) and I'm indoors. I feel a bit guilty, especially as I've missed this kind of weather! The trouble is, I don't sunbathe, it's too cold to swim, and the traffic will be horrendous. It'll be impossible to park by my grandma's, too.

I did go to the supermarket, and had to take the long way back because Manetto Hill Road was blocked off for the Memorial Day parade. The police were simply directing everyone down some back street and I drove around for 10 minutes before finding my way out of the development.

I think I'll have a read and a snooze, and maybe go out later.

I thought that the power cable for my laptop adapter would also work for my phone charger and camera battery charger.

I was wrong. The replacement cable I bought last time does; but the original Apple cable has a very slightly different connector (one side of the rings is straight). So I went out and got another notebook power cable... but this one is a three ring connector, not two *bangs head*

And neither BestBuy nor CompUSA do accessories for SonyEricsson phones (though my sister says Cingular do them, so I should try the Cingular store if I want a car charger, though I really wanted the cable as I might need to recharge the camera batteries.

Meantime, my phone is dead and I really need it tomorrow.. I will have to try to find a car charger :/
