I'm craving some New York appetizing.

I want a sesame bagel with cream cheese and lox. A whole smoked whitefish. Vegetable farmer cheese. Pickled lox in cream sauce. Pickled herring. An onion pletzel (these are hard to find these days :( )

Oh, and I'd like some challah from Zomick's (conveniently sold in Fairway, so I don't have to drive to Lawrence). And some chocolate babka.

Last time we were over I introduced Neil to the delights of cheese Danish. He thought it was slightly odd at first (I don't know why he thought sweet cheese was odd; he loves cheesecake) but then he really liked it. :)
