I missed the megillah reading. Bad me. OTOH, I had a headache last night, so going to hear it when all the kids were there with their noisemakers might not have been the best idea... (For Purim, you read Megillat Esther, the story of Esther. It's fairly long, hence the expression 'the whole megillah' for a long-winded story or explanation, and every time Haman's name is mentioned, everyone makes lots of noise so it takes a really long time to read!)
No one to celebrate with :-( *sniff* Not that I drink anyway, but it would be fun to give and get mishloach manot (basically, gift baskets of food). It will be more fun when we have kids and they can get all dressed up. :-) I did give to charity, though.
(I'm really dreading Pesach this year... but that's another story)
Anyway, Purim Sameach / Freilichen Purim to those celebrating.
