Today I've watched 2 episodes of Homicide, 1 episode of Nip/Tuck (on Sky, so with adverts) and 4.5 episodes of ER. Obviously a day well spent...

Yesterday's Guardian Weekend magazine had a selection of River Café Easy recipes.

I find it deeply ironic that one of them included a recipe for which I had to Google a main ingredient! And I'm relatively conversant with unusual vegetables. It's hardly an easy recipe if you can't buy the stuff!

(It was puntarelle, which generates a mere 18,200 results on Google. Apparently, it's a variety of chicory.)
