gotta love multimap
I put in a post code, the map comes up, it's practically next to Camden Town station, going towards Chalk Farm.
What does Multimap say?
"Closest Tube station: Mornington Crescent - 0.4mi"

That's it, killing DHL.
So I wait around for fucking DHL.
Finally, I check the web status. "Shipment on hold".
I phone up. Oh, sorry, message to re-deliver wasn't passed on. We can deliver tomorrow.
Except I have an appointment tomorrow. I can't fucking sit around waiting for a parcel that SHOULD have been delivered Friday.
I agreed to a Thursday redelivery, subject to them coming before noon.
I'm writing a very nasty letter to DHL. I paid $30 for expedited delivery and that's what I deserve.

Pah
The Independent has gone up to 70p.
And this is a newspaper that charges for a lot of content on its website too. Bloody money-suckers. All hail the socialist Guardian, 60p and a lovely free website! (OK, photos are pay-edition. Not as good as the NYT in that respect. The article archive is free, though.)
(But I'll still keep shelling out for the Indy because I do like some of it, and I can't read it for free.)
