I am very very cold. The heat is on full blast but it's still freezing. I'm currently sitting here in my nightshirt, robe, and, er, boots. Even though I'm prone to cold feet, I don't like wearing slippers (and can't stand ones with real soles which seem to be popular here from what I've seen) so I don't own any. I'm rethinking this now. Anyone know where I can buy booties for grown-ups? :) (Or something similar.) Fluffy soft insides are preferable and I'm a UK 7/US 9.

I don't own any thick socks either since I always wear skirts. I don't think a pair of tights is going to help (shame I don't have 90 denier bulletproof ones: I nearly bought some, but they didn't have any in my size!)

I'm bored. Surprise.

I sent this order via Priority Courier because it's worth quite a lot, it was mainly as a single item so was actually not too expensive to do (5 series counted as 1 item), and I hate bloody Parcelfarce anyway. Ship time on Priority Courier is 2-4 days (versus 6-22 for Expedited and 9-36 for regular; expedited usually takes about 2 weeks).

So Amazon tells me it's dispatched and I go to look for a delivery estimate.
