So the Royal Mail tried to deliver something and I wasn't in.

I've just looked at the card. One: The date is 23/11/05. I don't remember having this card for over a week. (I haven't had a chance to pick it up because there's never been a time I've been going past the delivery office when my hands weren't full/about to be filled, and I kept forgetting to make a special trip. I didn't think to call for redelivery.) Two: it says recorded delivery items will only be kept one week! Argh!

I'll have to go first thing Monday and see if they've still got it... :/

The available subtitle languages for the UK Simpsons DVDs are all the Scandinavian languages. That's it. (English language only soundtrack too.) So presumably, France, Germany, etc have their own editions. Pah. I would've liked to see the Simpsons in Spanish or French :) I'm not sure Danish subtitles are a good substitute...

Wonder if the US edition has Spanish on it? (It's broadcast in Spanish on SAP in the US, so the DVDs might well have it too. I'd imagine Canadian editions have French on them...)
