Just had dinner: steak with peppercorn sauce, mashed potatoes, brown-braised onions (less fattening than fried ;) )

Telling moment: I cut my steak open and thought "it's a bit more done than usual". Later, Neil looked at it and said "your steak's very rare". Heh.

I've downloaded MacGourmet and am gradually converting all my on-computer recipes (currently in text files) into it. This means re-typing all the ingredients (I can c'n'p the directions, but the ingredients go into little form fields).

Plus side, it can import and export MasterCook recipes.

It should let me handle recipes more easily, and I can generate shopping lists and things, but it's a bit of a drudge putting them in.
