Today we decided to get out of the house and do something, and since it was such a nice day, we decided on the zoo. Animals!! :) eldar has a silly description in his LJ. It was great fun, though London Zoo's enclosures aren't the best; the mesh can be hard to see through :/ But we saw lots of animals. No elephants though, they're only at Whipsnade :( (note to all sarcastic pedants: I know there are other zoos; I'm just referring to the sites run by the Zoological Society of London.) It was around midday so the big cats weren't very active.

London Zoo is EXPENSIVE though, an adult ticket is £14!

When I got home I decided to have a look at Apple's status site--I didn't think my laptop would be ready yet as it's Bank Holiday but something made me check. I'm glad I did--it was ready. So I shot into town to pick it up and save Neil's and my sanity ;)

While we're at it: spotted stray apostrophe at zoo. "same as our's". NO! "Ours" is a possessive in itself: no apostrophe is required!
