I got to the Apple store as it opened and went to the service queue. "Next available" time was already 10:45!

Added name to list (but wasn't given a time--so I had to wait around).

Watched "next available" time rapidly progress, until 10:50, when the "no more available today" notice came up. (At 11:20, it changed back to "Next available: 20:15").

I was seen shortly before noon (having finished all available reading materials).

You know how I broke the pin on my old adapter?

Well, turns out it's in the socket.

So it's in repair. I have to pay :( Luckily, not much, just a labor charge and a small parts fee. They can do it in-store, but repair is very busy (no surprise there!) and it will take a week.

Vet's doesn't have the cat food I ordered. They'd better have it tomorrow or Zoe will not be a happy cat.
