chicken in the oven, potatoes parboiled, carrots peeled, batter for Yorkshire puddings made.

Still need to joint the chicken, make the gravy, roast the potatoes (mmm, goose fat), microwave the cabbage (Waitrose did the cooking *cough*), microwave peas (Neil hates cabbage :) ), steam carrots.

English roast dinner ahoy!

I wasn't sure about yield, so I made 2 eggs worth of batter.

This made 8 Yorkshire puddings (muffin size).

I ate 5.

Oops.

Of course, when Neil saw I'd left a potato on my plate he nicked it so he's just as bad ;)

... you correctly guess diagnoses before the doctors do.

(I guessed pituitary gland tumor as soon as they said "excess of cortisol" and "normal blood tests".)
