Today we went to buy an air conditioner.
First we went to B&Q. After searching for help, waiting at the service desk, and going back twice to get the correct product code, I was told it wasn't in stock. I figured everywhere else would be just as bad, so I decided to order it. After she took all my information, she said the system wouldn't accept the order. Wait some more, manager tries, still no dice. Total time taken: 45mins. Grrr.
So we try Homebase. Aaaand... luck! They actually have some, IN STOCK! 9,000 BTU rather than 10,000, but it should be fine, neither room is that big though they're south facing. PLUS, cheaper than B&Q and with 30 quid off.
So I'm happy (except for the fact that I have a swollen eyelid AGAIN). Oh and I'm turning into my mother, I got annoyed at Neil when he wandered off. Oh dear.
