I thought it was going to get better.

I was looking forward to the end of the football season. A respite from Sky Sports.

What I failed to reckon with was cricket.

Cricket is ten times worse than football. The matches are on all day, for days at a time, and they are colossally, infernally dull. I do not know how Neil sits through them.

The only thing i can be grateful for is that they are generally on during the day, on Sky, and don't interfere with regular TV the way football does :)

Long story short, still ill. Vaguely thinking about calling the doctor if this doesn't let up but I'm not sure what they can do.
