First I went to that sale in Wembley. It was a good sale, but not quite what I wanted; a bit too dressy for my tastes. I can see why the person sent me there, though; the outfits would have been great for weddings etc, and even for Shabbat if you like to be very formal which does seem to be the taste here.

Then I went to the hat shop in Hendon and bought a new hat. It's very nice, pink and white, Isabelle Recanati from Israel, dressy and not stiff. Maybe I'll stick myself in front of the webcam before I go out in the morning. :-)

1. Do you have a long-term life plan, or do you go with the flow?

1. I have a vague theoretical outline of a life plan, but mostly, I flow. When I was 17 I thought I knew everything I wanted. I was soon disabused of this idea and have failed to come up with a replacement! Perhaps if I work out what I want to do in life I'll plan a bit more.

2. Yes. Not absolutely-right-this-second, but within the next few years. I always have. Family's very important to me and I want one of my own.

3. Food! Cooking it, reading about it, shopping for it, and eating it. Yum, yum, yum. I'm also a huge reader--I rarely leave the house without a book/magazine/newspaper.

4. Can I pick that pukey green they use in hospitals?

5. Can't pick. There are things that bother me about some men, but beyond physical features it's impossible to generalize. Hmm. Can I eliminate back and nose hair? :-)
