So I go down to West Norwood (took less time than expected, actually: Journey Planner said to take the tube to Brixton then get a bus, but I decided to get Thameslink instead. It was quicker, and since I got on at Kings Cross I got a seat... unlike all the poor people at Blackfriars who had to squeeze, since they decided to run 2 4-car trains instead of cancelling one). I got the CDs. I went home (discovered that the 2 to Brixton continued on to Stockwell) via Wagamama and Sainsburys. I went to bed.

I get up and decide to start reinstalling. I check to make sure everything's correctly backed up onto my iPod. It is. I insert the CD and double click on "Install OS X". It tells me to restart. I do. Laptop restarts, I see the apple. Then, the apple shifts, I see a little black line, and everything stops. I wait. Nothing. Restart, same again. Finally I have to do the mouse-eject thing and start normally. Try again. Same.

AARGH. Let's hope I can either get this working or manage not to kill myself before Tiger comes out...
