My right eye is starting to clear up, but my left eye is still well and truly disgusting. :-(
I will be stuck wearing my glasses for a few days yet. I hate wearing them. One, they're out of style (I keep putting off buying new frames since I hardly ever wear them). Two, glasses are a nuisance. I went to contacts when I was 13 for a reason: I'm blind as a bat. Unlike Neil (the lucky sod) I can't do anything without my glasses on. So there's very little relief for my nose and behind my ears. I suppose if I always wore glasses, I might develop a tolerance (and some calluses), but I don't. And glasses fog up, get dirty, don't protect your eyes from onion fumes, and cause really weird vertigo when you're going down a flight of stairs. (OK, maybe it's only my glasses that do that. It's a good thing I've got high-index lenses, or I'd get really fun distortion.)
