Yesterday, we were commenting on how Zoe wasn't standing over our plates, begging for roast chicken and soup.

Today I was eating the cold chicken. She hovered over me, and when I put the plate down, she started licking the chicken!

So there's the secret: she likes her food cold. Mad cat.

I think one of the most oddly named dishes is ropa vieja (Cuban style shredded beef). It means "old clothes" in Spanish.

Arnos Grove station is Grade II listed. I have to say, I never noticed anything special about it when I've been past, other than it being a rather impressively large station for Outer London. Must look more closely next time.
