So tonight I'm reading the film reviews in the papers and suggesting films. He's rejected everything that's "weird" or in a foreign language.
(OK, I can understand not wanting to see the 1972 version of Solaris at the NFT; it's 160 minutes long and in Russian. But he's being really picky! The only thing he said "yes" to was In Good Company, which is a Hollywood rom-com. He said "OK" after i said Scarlett Johanssen was in it. Hmm....)
