soup, lovely delicious soup. It came out great :-) There wasn't much fat on the bird, but there were a couple of lumps in the extra package of giblets I got (because I realized I didn't know if they'd put the neck and gizzard in the package with the chicken) so I got enough. Since there's only the two of us I didn't make too much--I did it as chicken in the pot and served it with the chicken, knaidlach, and carrots.

The knaidlach were a little heavier than I'd like. My mother always used to do them at home, and she cheated by using the Manischewitz mix :P But I think I just need to add a little more liquid to the batter.

Still... chicken soup... yum!!
