I went into Boots to get my prescriptions.
First, it took them 10 minutes to find them.
Then when I got home, I saw they'd dispensed 4 boxes instead of 6. My prescription slip clearly says 6x28 (I have the refill slip). I did notice they'd corrected (presumably by calling the surgery) the mis-quantity on my BC. The GP prescribed 3, not noticing that each box contains a 3 month supply, rather than 1. (I spotted this when I was looking at the slip after I'd left.) The 6-box supply on the other one was filled before, though, so I can't imagine the surgery correcting that.
There's no notice in the bag saying they were unable to complete filling my prescription, either.
I was disheartened to see that my metformin also comes in fucking blister packs. What is this British obsession with blister packs? I know they do it on Nurofen etc because they're paranoid about people overdosing, but metformin?! Do they not trust pharmacists to count the correct number of pills? It seems like such a waste of packaging, as well as being annoying.
