Unfortunately PC World didn't have the optical intellimouse I had, so I got the wireless explorer. It has 2 problems:
1) No, there isn't a wire connecting the mouse to the laptop... instead you've got a long wire connecting it to the cradle. This solves tangled wire problems how? OK, it can mean a little more flexibility of placement when using the mouse, but it's not a great improvement.
2) instead of having the forward and back buttons on either side of the mouse, they're both by the thumb. It's fairly easy to hit the wrong one by mistake.
