Nothing exciting today. Went into Golders Green to go food shopping. GG is cool. It has real shops, like butchers and bakeries. Of course, most of them are kosher... :-) Unfortunately, the fishmonger was out of lemon sole. Then the butcher's demanded a £10 minimum on credit. Luckily I had £6.50 in cash (I was only buying a chicken).
The one problem with GG is that it hasn't got a decent supermarket (though this probably helps all the small shops). There are tiny branches of Sainsburys and Waitrose, both crap. So I had to stop off again on the way home. I hate the bus in the late afternoon; it's full of schoolkids. Today a bunch of them were roughhousing in the aisle. I was ready to smack the lot of 'em.
Tomorrow I really have to go finish up some holiday shopping.
