Plumber hasn't shown up. Can't get in touch with him. Neither can the plumbing firm. Rather than wait round and run risk of staying here ALL DAY, I have rearranged for tomorrow. Neil can bloody wait. :-)

Last night, I fell asleep early and forgot to take my pills. Plus: Slept through night. Downside: Dreams, horrible night sweats.

When I got back from my errands, she was sitting by the window, looking out and mewing. I opened the window to get some fresh air in here and she stuck her head out. I didn't want her falling out (oh for window screens!) so I opened the balcony door instead. She went out, wandered round the balcony, and kept crying.

She's back inside now but still mewing. I don't know why she's unhappy--maybe it's finally hit her that this flat is a lot smaller than her old house! She was always an indoor cat (deliberate decision--when I got her, I knew I'd be moving into a flat eventually, and didn't want her to get used to something she'd lose) so that part is no change.
