Pre-Thanksgiving fun
I baked all day. Had a puff pastry disaster (not my fault: I did the butter block last night and put it in the fridge. Someone moved it on top of a container of hot sauce. Result: Melted cheesy butter mess.) So now I've had to go to regular pie pastry. Meh.
And my cheesecake REALLY cracked this year. It always cracks a little, and I considered trying the water bath method this year as I was told that stops cracking. In the end I decided not to try a new method. I wish I had--this isn't just a little crack, it's a major fissure. :-(
Chinese takeaway for dinner. Shame my grandma threw all the leftovers out instead of leaving them for Carly like I said. There was a whole untouched order of sesame beef there!!!
