I went to John Lewis yesterday. I hate Oxford Street. Shame it's easier to get to that branch than to Brent Cross (by public transport, that is).

Today I did nothing. :-) I made the mistake of making tagliatelle with alfredo sauce for dinner. My digestive system has been seriously off kilter since Monday. I think I took 2 metformin tablets by mistake. I remember looking at the bottle and thinking "Did I just take one? No, I don't think so". I was ill an hour later. :-(

My metformin tablets are 1000mg each, you are definitely not supposed to take 2 at once!

I'm now watching House Porn on C4. Actually I have learnt some stuff from my occasional house porn watching, though quite a lot of it is common sense that I already knew. I look at the people trying to sell complete tips, or totally redo a house on 10K and go "you're mad". I know we can't sell this place as-is.. I'm not looking forward to finishing it up. All the clutter's going to have to go for a bit... difficult with a pair of pack rats!

Have some stuff to do tomorrow... I realized yesterday that I should've bought family Chanukah presents here, but no time now. D'oh!
