The Northern Line sucks donkey balls. So does the 82 bus, which always takes ages to go up Regents Park Road and Ballards Lane. (OK, the 460 wouldn't be any better, but I usually seem to get the 82. They're the same route as far as Childs Hill.) The problem is that if I need to go to Golders Green, or anywhere down Finchley Road, I have to go by bus. :-( I can get the tube from Woodside Park to Finchley Central (slightly faster than walking to Tally Ho Corner and getting the bus directly) but for most of the day the A598 is a clogged rat run. Once you get to Henlys Corner (junction with the North Circular) it tends to clear up.

Other than that, not much. I've been sleeping better and I'm feeling more energetic. Today all the dishes got washed almost as soon as they were used. I also dusted, hoovered, emptied the Dyson, went grocery shopping, baked a cake (lemon Victoria), and will cook dinner when Neil gets home.

I feel guilty about baking the cake now though, I should help Neil diet! It would be less horrible if I hadn't made a whole 20cm cake...
