Just saw this week's candle-lighting times (Shabbat candles are lit 18 minutes before sunset): London, 16:11. Next week, 16:00.

Moving up 11 degrees in latitude is quite a change....

Silly eBay purchase!

I bought the Wedgwood Peter Rabbit nursery set I had when I was a baby :-) I was always upset that my mother lost it.

Cost me £30, but it was worth it--set was in mint condition, original box (never used, according to the seller; christening present). I got it today.
