Today I got my cashcard in the post. Can I just ring up to activate it, or go to the branch? Oh nooooo. First I must fill in a form, and post it or take it to the branch. Then I will receive my PIN in the post in 7 days.

Surely it would be easier, and just as secure, to allow someone to go to the branch in person and select their PIN? That's what my US bank did.

I will be one of 8 bridesmaids. Oy.

I have "Gloria" going through my head. Not the U2 or Van Morrison songs by that name, but the cheesy 1982 one by Laura Branigan.

I have just downloaded it and inflicted it on Neil so he can get it stuck in his head too.
