John Pilger on ITV at 11pm. Do I watch it and get enlightened, or skip it to avoid Pilger's pontificating and anti-US rants? (It WILL be anti-US: it's about the expulsion of the Chagos Islanders by the British government so the US could build a military base.)
It's not that I dislike anything that's anti-US; I just prefer to have the facts speak for themselves, rather than have them hammered into my skull by journalists with an overinflated sense of self-importance. I don't like propaganda, which is why I neither watch Fox News nor read Noam Chomsky's political works.
