I spent 3 hours having my hair done today :/ Color, highlights, cut and blow. It looks a little dark I think, but my mother reminded me that it gets lighter. So we'll see. I think it could also be a little more red.
I stopped in Borders and ended buying, er, 5 books. The last book in the Dark Tower series is out--I didn't know it was coming out so soon. The last two in the series weren't great, but I feel like I have to find out how it ends. Also got Amos Oz' memoir--I read an excerpt in one of the papers. At least I have the excuse of a train ride on Thursday.
On a totally different note, my family can be lovely :-) Mom got us 8 place settings of Denby (including the pasta bowls!) and Grandma got us almost all our pots and pans. We did all that yesterday. They insisted going to the stores, even though it would've been just as easy to do it online! (it wasn't as if they spent ages looking at products--and I'm not sure why my mother had to look at the dishes I'd picked... she'd seen them on-line, I sent her a link when I picked them!)
We didn't see a pair of candlesticks we liked though (Jewish tradition for a bride's mother to buy them).
Having a relaxed evening today, wedding drama aside (trying to work out how I'm going to get my dress steamed!!)
